Geneva Cointrin International Airport is an airport in Geneva, Switzerland. It is located 5 km from the city centre and has direct connections to expressways, bus lines and railways. Peretola Airport, Florence Airport (Italian: Aeroporto di Firenze) or Amerigo Vespucci Airport is an airport located close to Florence, Italy, but administratively located within the territory of Sesto Fiorentino. It is one of two main airports in the Tuscany region, the other being Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa.
It is a small airport, with a single runway and the main taxiway is situated at the end of runway 05, with an overshoot/holding area at the end of runway 23. As is common with smaller airports, after landing planes turn around at the end of the runway, they taxi back down the runway to reach the parking area and terminal.
In 1990, the airport was named after Florence native Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian merchant and cartographer.

What to do when you arrive at the airport

What to do on departure
We will send you an SMS message letting you know the time of your pickup for the return leg of your journey by 16:00 French time the day before you leave. Please ensure that the mobile phone you have specified as your contact number is switched on to receive this message. There is no need to reply to the text. If you have not received this message by 17:00 then please call our office, on the number above, to confirm the time. In general, we aim to get customers to the airport in comfortable time before their flight (1 and a half – 2 hours before) – and will allow ample time to do this. If you require pick up time information for any other resorts then please refer to our FAQ page In the event of extremely bad road conditions it is possible that you will have to picked up earlier – in these cases, we reserve the right to change your pickup time at short notice.

Once you have collected your luggage, please make your way outside to the arrivals hall.When outside walk directly ahead and down the small ramp.At the bottom of the ramp you will see welcome desks. Make your way to DESK NUMBER 25 where your representative/driver will be holding a AIRPORTCONNEX sign. Please identify yourself by showing him a copy of your booking confirmation.

Shuttle transfers - When you have collected your luggage and you exit the baggage reclaim area please make your way to the shuttle meeting point, this is located at the PortAventura booking office in arrivals - it is the clients responsibility to arrive at the correct meeting point above on time.
Please ensure your airport transfer E-Ticket is printed and that all details are correct and show to our representative - If you notice any inaccuracies please notify us at once.
RETURN (if applicable) IMPORTANT - PLEASE CHECK ALL DATES AND TIMES
Please reconfirm your pick-up time with our operator by contacting one of the numbers below - you must do this 72hrs before your return pick-up is due - It is the client's responsibility to do this
If possible, please be waiting outside, or in the reception area of the hotel/property around 5 minutes before the return airport transfer is due as at times airport parking maybe very limited
Please note if you have pre booked a child or booster seat that there is a small local charge for these payable at the office on the day of arrival, the local charge is 6.50euros per seat per way

Shuttle bus meeting point:
After collecting your luggage make your way to luggage belt number 2 inside the baggage reclaim area, in front of belt 2 you will see 2 sliding doors. Go through these doors and turn to your right walk past the café on your left and a lift on the right. Our client reception desk is the fourth office to the right of this office, named “CENTRAL DE RESERVAS NORBUS TORRES”.
Arrival Instructions -
Once you have collected your luggage, please make your way outside to the arrivals hall. When outside, you will see flag posts. Please make your way behind the flag posts and you will see the welcome desks. Make your way to DESK NUMBER 1 where your representative/driver will be holding a AIRPORTCONNEX sign. Please identify yourself by showing him a copy of your booking confirmation.
In the unlikely event you should have any difficulty in locating your designated driver - please call our emergency helpline where an English speaking representative will help you. (If calling from a mobile, the international dialling code must be dialled. If calling from a land line there is no need.)

Please note that it is COMPULSORY and EXTREMELY important to reconfirm your return transfer time at least one day (24 HOURS) prior to your departure within office hours ONLY before your departure transfer to confirm your pick up. We cannot accept any responsibility for clients who are not collected on time and subsequently miss their return flight if details of the booking have changed and we have not been advised accordingly.
