Important Arrival instructions

YOUR DRIVER WILL MOST LIKELY BE WAITING FOR YOU AT BAGGAGE CLAIM WHEN YOU ARRIVE. THEY WILL HAVE A SIGN WITH YOUR NAME ON A CARD

ON ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS: First, retrieve all bags from baggage claim. The driver will assist you to your vehicle and you will proceed to the hotel.

Should there be a delay or you cannot locate your driver please call 1-888-478-6978 and they will assist you. The driver should be in the close vicinity.

Your transportation is pre-paid. At your discretion, you may voluntarily tip the driver for good service.

Important Departure instructions

PRIOR TO DEPARTURE INSTRUCTIONS: You MUST re-confirm your return trip to the airport approximately 24 hours before scheduled pickup.

Please call 1-888-478-6978 and tell them that you are re-confirming your reservation.

Ask for instructions on exactly where you are to be picked up outside the hotel. Please BE AT THE PICKUP POINT 15 minutes prior to departure. DO NOT allow anyone except the designated company to transport you to the airport. Cab drivers, other van drivers and some hotel personnel may try to tell you to take taxis, sedans or other vans; do not follow their advice as you will pay an extra fare and this cannot be claimed back in any circumstances.

 

Fare details & guarantees

Please note that all our Long Beach harbour transfers are subject to our operators confirmation, were we allow bookings to be made up to 24hours before departure these are not guaranteed unless we have full confirmation from our operators.
If a booking cannot be confirmed due to availability, any fares taken for the booking will be refunded in full.
Bookings of this type are usually very late bookings

Our US fares do not include gratuities (tips)
Guide to tipping in the States -
Gratuity is discretionary and cities differ with their expected rate.
The general range is 10-20 % and depends on how much the driver assists- large bags, excess baggage, difficult weather,etc - can warrant a higher reward. Somewhat typical , might be $10 for a $100 or less ride and proportionally more as the value increases.

 

Child seat provision

Child car seat and boosters are available on this service and are charged locally at the rate of between $25-50 each way

transfer and cannot be guaranteed.
Please request seats on the booking pages, payment is to the driver on the day

 

 

Private / shared transfer type

Our shuttle buses are a great cheap alternative to private transfers, please bare in mind there are many stops which could increase your journey time.

Our private transfers are private to you or your party only.
We use different size vehicles for all numbers of passengers -
Sedan - max 3 passengers
SUV - max 6 passengers
Vans - max 10 passengers
Minibus - max 14 passengers

Luggage restrictions

Please note all our transfers allow each passenger two-pieces of luggage.
Please be aware that Skis/snow boards - Golf Clubs - Golf Equipment are classed as items of luggage.
For the purpose of identification these items are asked for separately on the search form to identify the correct type of vehicle needed for transportation.
For other forms of equipment such as Bicycles - Wheel Chairs etc please make a note on the Special Request form within the booking procedures - A small supplement may be charged locally.
Any equipment not noted on this request form maybe rejected by our operator
Supplements may apply if the luggage amount is exceeded per person or per group

Deposit scheme

Diy-Hols deposit scheme is subject to certain conditions.

Please note our deposit scheme is not available for Shuttles/Shared rides

Private transfers only -
The transfer arrival date must be in excess of ten weeks and must be paid in full eight weeks before your arrival at the airport.
By using our deposit scheme you have the piece of mind knowing that your Airport Transfer has been reserved subject to full payment.
